Almost four hundred people came to the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada to savour products from twenty Manitoba breweries, listen to music from the HMCS Chippawa Band, and enjoy a performance by Manitoba legend Al Simmons, all while supporting scholarships for air cadets. The doors opened at 6:30 pm and the space under the wings of the museum's aircraft rapidly filled with supporters enjoying the ambience and tastes. After months of training, Manitoba cadets who enrolled in the effective speaking program will demonstrate their newly attained skills by participating in the provincial effective speaking competition, on Saturday 25 April, from 9 am, at the Building 90 theatre, just outside the main gate at 17 Wing Winnipeg.
