Manitoba Effective Speaking Competition Saturday 25 April
After months of training, Manitoba cadets who enrolled in the effective speaking program will demonstrate their newly attained skills by participating in the provincial effective speaking competition, on Saturday 25 April, from 9 am, at the Building 90 theatre, just outside the main gate at 17 Wing Winnipeg. Cadets, parents, and other guests are welcome to attend, to cheer on the competitors. Admission is free. The winner of the provincial competition will be Manitoba's repre

Props 'n' Hops 2026 Saturday 18 April

Hubbell Awards Application Deadline 1 April
The Hubbell application form was sent to all Cadet units in Manitoba in January. The application applies to all Manitoba Cadets who plan to continue their education at a post secondary institution in the coming year. Cadets should complete the application form as thoroughly as possible. Commanding Officers are requested to canvass their Cadets so that at least one nomination per unit is submitted. Air Cadet of the Year Award
The Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) Air Cadet of the Year is selected annually and will be invited by the Royal Canadian Legion to act as a youth representative at the Annual National Remembrance Day Ceremony in Ottawa. This cadet will be an excellent ambassador for the Air Cadet movement. Criteria: Cadet must be at rank of Flight Sergeant and above Cadet must be a cadet in good standing Cadet must be able to travel to be in Ottawa on November 11 Cadet must be younger than 19 y
