MAKING AN APPLICATION
Fill out the 2026 Post Secondary Scholarship Awards Application Form
Must be received by the Provincial Office of the Air Cadet League Of Canada (Manitoba) Inc., Suite 123, P.O. Box 17,000 STATION FORCES, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3Y5, no later than October 10, 2026.
Note: The Honours and Awards Committee reserves the right to withhold the award if the academic standing of candidates is not sufficiently high when applicable.

James Downey Community Service Award
$1000 Award
Sponsored by the generosity of the Downey family & fundraising by the Air Cadet League of Canada (Manitoba) Inc. to be awarded to an Air Cadet in recognition of their community service
Manitoba Aviation Council Scholarship
Two scholarship awards are available to Manitoba Air Cadets with a passion to pursue a career in an aviation related field. These scholarships can be used toward post secondary education in an aviation related discipline, the pursuit of a private pilot license, or continuing flying in the pursuit of a commercial license.

National Air Cadet Scholarships and Awards
Application Deadline: Apr 1 of each year
Many National Scholarships and Awards are available to Air cadets who apply.

International - EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association)
EAA invites those who are interested in pursuing flight or a career in aviation or aviation related/STEM fields.
We encourage individuals who are well-rounded, involved in their school or community, and interested in the world of aviation to apply for an EAA Scholarship. Please fill out an application for an EAA scholarship.
