Props & Hops 2025 April 26, 2025

Saturday 26 April, 7 pm to 10:30 pm CDT - Props and Hops - our annual beer sampling event is also ACLC MB's main fundraiser. Proceeds from the evening go towards scholarships for air cadets. Over twenty local brewers provide tasting samples; designated driver tickets are also available. The event features live music, silent auctions, hors d'oeuvres, with ambience provided by the aircraft in the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada's collection. Registration is open on EventBrite. This is definitely not a cadet activity, but parents and friends are welcome.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Save the date! ACLC MB will hold our 84th Annual General Meeting at the Holiday Inn Express, 1740 Ellice Avenue, Winnipeg, on Saturday 18 October, from 9 am to 4 pm. Subsidies may be available for SSCs and squadron staff to travel to Winnipeg. More information will be released soon.

2025 Provincial Effective Speaking April 19, 2025

The Manitoba Provincial Effective Speaking Competition will take place at Building 90 (Gymnasium Theatre off Whytewold) at CFB Winnipeg on Saturday 19 April from 9 am. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch the cadets make their speeches and try to win their way to the National Effective Speaking Competition in Ottawa in June.
